Before Herbalife weight loss program"I'm sorry, but you can't play on my team" the skinny kid said "you're too fat and slow." "But I can play" came the reply "I've been practicing." "Oh well, you need speed to win this game" the skinny kid said. "No you don't," said the big kid, "it's basketball. I'll show you, just watch. Me and the little guy are gonna whip you." "I doubt that, I made the high school basketball team. Me and my teammate will show you how it's done" said skinny kid.

You already know how to play to win. All you have to do is apply that to your weight loss program. Once you set a goal, you have something to shoot for. Getting started is simple, set realistic goals that aren't to hard to achieve. Then determine the methods you are going to use to reach that goal."

Herbalife press release - No lead - confirmed.

HERBALIFE LTD has added a news release to its Investor Relations website. Title: Herbalife Says No Lead Issue Date: 6/8/2008 2:34:01 PM

LOS ANGELES, Jun 08, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Testing conducted at a leading independent laboratory has confirmed that Herbalife products do not contain levels of lead that would require labeling under California Proposition 65 disclosure requirement. The company added to its ongoing compliance program by conducting extensive retesting of multiple product batches at the prestigious independent laboratories Covance (for U.S.) and Eurofins (for EU) before responding to recent allegations. There was never any health or safety issue with Herbalife products. Inaccurate and misleading information released by a group that calls itself an independent fraud-discovery organization led to sensational media and online news coverage. The group's founder Barry Minkow admits profiting from "puts" on Herbalife stock.

"It's very easy to create fear by using words like 'lead' and 'dangerous' together," said Herbalife Chief Scientific Officer Steve Henig, Ph.D. "and then add the word 'children' to make it even scarier. It's a fact that many natural and processed foods including vegetables and dairy products as well as our products, which are made with natural ingredients, contain extremely small amounts of naturally occurring lead that can be detected by today's highly sensitive analytical methods but are insignificant in posing any risk to consumers."

In response to an additional misleading news release from the Minkow group, Herbalife clarifies that Peruvian authorities are not "leaning towards a ban of all Herbalife products." All Herbalife products are in compliance with DIGESA's and DIGEMID's (both are part of the Peruvian Ministry of Health) regulations, and are approved and certified for sale by these government entities. There has been no issue with the Peruvian authorities. The sensational headlines citing 'excessive lead' did prompt inquiries from authorities in Singapore, Poland and Hong Kong, all of which were resolved when the facts were presented.

The New Look of Herbal Nutrition News

Hi everybody, Tim Koen here. Just a note to welcome you to the new look for Herbal Nutrition News / Healthy Living blog. I thought that since I've gotten my new look through herbal nutrition solutions I should return the favor. Much of the success of this website is due to this blog. So...I wanted to trim it up some and get it looking healthy and fit.

Website on a diet. Just as in any good weight loss program, I measured and weighed the content presented before I started cutting out the fat. I planned out what I would need to do to reach the ideal weight for the website. I even kept a record of all the weight loss (um, I mean code) that I took out.

My feeling was that the text area was too fat. So the content area has been put on a diet to make it more pleasing to you, the reader. This trimming allows for new areas to be added to the page, like the new "featured" rotating content box at the top right of this page. The featured content box holds quick links to specific areas of the main website. Want to jump somewhere quick use the rotating content box, it's cool!

Also new, is our sign up form for the monthly newsletter "HNS E-zine" Where you can get tips, tricks and techniques for healthy living through herbal nutrition solutions. I promise I won't use your email for anything other than to send you HNS E-zine.

Some things have been eliminated that just seemed like dead weight. The original template has several pieces of extra code designed for different situations. The tutorial doesn't point this out, or that they can easily be removed without harming the integrity of the web pages. So, I lost the extra weight and will keep it off.

    Shape Up for Summer
