Let's all eat big and not worry
04-07-2008 9:33 am
Big day here, play in the morning, play in the afternoon and play tonight. Too much fun in the sun is a coming. First up a good breakfast. Let's see something not too heavy and not too light. How about a yummy milk shake. Some fruit, a little yogurt, cookies-n-cream shake mix and some vanilla soy milk, ought to do the trick. Blend it up, drink
it down and I'm ready to go.
Then a short workout to get the juices flowing. I need to do a motor rebuild for the go-kart (my hobby) so that is next on the agenda. Some people like to lift weight, others like going on a run but I like twisting wrenches to get exercise.
Speaking of exercise when you plan on eating big, you can pay forward the calorie burning to keep your weight down. Getting some exercise before the big meal will burn calories ahead of time, so you don't feel so guilty later on, and it will give you a healthy appetite. You don't want to embarass your barbeque chef by refusing to eat the
greasy burgers and brats. Go ahead enjoy the day and please the cook.
Don't want to have all that grease stay with you? What to do? Get that greasy food to pass right through without being absorbed. Do this by consuming fiber such as fruit, vegetables, oats and soy lecithin. Soy lecithin enables fats to be dispersed in water and removed from the body. Don't want to eat all that food? No problem, have a high fiber dietary supplement before you eat. Fiber is excellent for cleaning out the digestive tract and surrounding the grease molecules for quicker elimination. So let's all eat big and not worry.

Ouch that hurts - Fun in the Sun.
05-07-2008 10:54 am
Summer is officially on. The 4th of July just past and what a beautiful day it was. Picnics, barbeques and family gathering ruled the day. There were kids playing, dads barbequeing and moms loving every minute of it. What a celebration we had. It was way too much fun in the sun.
Sometimes all that fun results a little payback by mother nature. She can sneek up on you even on the best of days. Playing hard can often result in bug bites, sunburns, scrapes and bruises, skin irritation and dehydration. And
that can happen in your own backyard.
Many of us get prepared for all that fun in the sun. We stock up on sunscreen, bug repellant, bandades, and plenty of fluids. But how many of us are prepared for the day after? Even with preperation there can be accidents and overexposure to the elements. Kids fall down, dads get burned from the barbequeing and moms get sunburnt.
Mother nature has generously given us Aloe Vera to soothe and relieve our skin problems. With 22 vitamins and minerals Aloe is the one herbal solution that can be used internally as well as externally for discomfort from too much fun in the sun. Learn more about aloe soothing gels... Bookcase full of Herbalife Catalogs
24-07-2008 5:19 pm
When I started my home based business I used a little fore thought. For me working at home meant a clean environment in my home office. I wanted everything I needed right there on display so potential customers could see it (and I could find it).
As part of my business start up I selected 2 spots that serve as my home office. One is a nice desk of course that holds my computer stuff, phone, literature and work related materials. The other is a bookcase for holding product and promotional materials.
I keep the bookcase stocked with items that turn over quickly. When a visiting customer asks for something I like to anticipate that and have it ready for her. There are three advantages to this. First, if I order ahead of time I can combine the cost of shipping in with other products I need and lower my cost. Second, I can offer free shipping to the customer who then feels like she is getting a deal (which she is). Third, the customer is more willing to pay for items they can see right now and take with them.
While I'm on the subject of bookcases did you know a bookcase is considered office furniture and can be written off your taxes. That's only one bonus, here's another. Your office furniture can be considered home office space and be written off your taxes (every year you use it). Eventually the bookcase will pay for itself.
When I selected my bookcase I thought it should be a great looking piece of furniture. So I got one with closing glass doors. What I found out was that my product (Herbalife) stays fresher and protected longer. You see by closing the doors you eliminate most of the air circulation and therefore dust inside the cabinet. Also having a closed bookcase reduces rapid temperature fluctuations that can be harmful to your product.
One thing I have in the bookcase are a pile of Herbalife catalogs to give away. I went overboard and got too many of them. The idea is to give them to whomever is interested. So now I want to clean out my bookcase and make room for fresh product. Would you be interested in a free Herbalife catalog? Ships free anywhere in the U.S.A.
