Caffeine in Energy Drink

About Caffeine in Energy Drink. I am taking Formula 1 protein shake mix in the morning. The Cell Activator in the afternoon (1 tablet) and energy drink in the evening by 4 pm. I take energy drink with water. I am developing a nagging pain in my gums and also stiffness. I feel it is due to the caffeine, but it also keeps me fresh to work the whole evening. Your suggestion please.

Uma, there is caffeine in most energy drinks including Herbalife products. That may be the cause of your sore gums, but I doubt it. Allergic reaction to caffeine is usualy in the form of the jitters or headache. If this were the case I would recommend discontinuing usage of the energy drink.

But since you seem to getting the desired result - staying fresh for the evening, I think it may something other than the energy drink.

However, losing weight can trigger some strange symptoms in the body. Although rare, sore gums is one of them. Here's the deal...

Cell Activator improves nutrient absorption for healthy cellular nutrition and brain function.*The Cell Activator helps create cellular activity in the body. As a response your cells begin rebuilding themselves. During this process pollutants and toxins that have been stored in your cells are re-released back into the blood stream.

These pollutants and toxins need to circulate through your kidneys and liver to be eliminated. In the mean time they can also be expelled through the skin, pallette and other soft tissue causing abnormal reactions like headaches and sore gums.

Formula 1 supplies the nutrition your cells need to repair and rebuild. This gives your cells the proteins and vitamins necessary for the rebuilding process. As you begin your weight loss journey one of the first things you notice is more energy.

As a result of this increased energy some people tend to work their muscle groups more. This could explain your stiffness. When you get more exercise than you are used to your muscles tend to rebel and tense or stiffen up some.

Now the good news. These symptoms usually go away after a week, or two maybe three. And that isn't the only good thing. The best part is that you should tend to feel much, much better, have more energy and be lighter on your feet.

For now I would recommend continuing your weight loss program including the energy drink. If the symptoms persist, consult a health care professional.
