Hi, my questions is; (Are Herbalife and Hair Loss Related?) I have been taking this product for a while, but then my husband said he noticed that I've been losing a lot of hair ever since. I start drinking this product, is that possible, is that a side effect, please help I'm losing a lot.
Hi Leyla, yeah, could be your hair loss may be the result using the Herbalife products, BUT, not for the reasons you might think. Several factors can go into hair loss including age, diet, hereditary traits, stress level and health.

Natural hair loss and growth cycle is about
3 months long. It is normal to experience some hair loss all the time. Because only about 10% of the your hair on is growing at one time. The other 90% is resting or dormant. As hair gets older and stops growing eventually it falls out. To be replaced by new hair growth.
Hair loss can also result from an imbalance in hormones. Such things as pregnancy and serious illness and can result in a hormonal imbalance, which causes the hair to stop growing. Which in turn results in abnormal hair loss months later.
Other causes of hair loss could be the result diabetes, genetic disorder, lack of sleep, pneumonia or insufficient intake of nutrients. Because so many factors go into the cause of excessive hair loss it isn't that easy to determine which one is the culprit.
Rapid hair loss can also result from rapid weight loss, especially if there is a nutrient deficiency involved. For that matter, even a safe weight loss can trigger rapid hair loss due to significant nutrient intake.
Consider this, because of the significant nutrient intake from the
Herbalife products, you have triggered an impending rapid hair growth period. To make room for the new hair your scalp is shedding the old, dormant and dying hair strands. This is a natural precursor to natural rapid new hair growth.
No matter what the cause of rapid hair loss the recovery would have to be to stimulate new hair growth. There are several treatments that can stimulate hair growth but basically it comes down to giving your body what it needs to grow hair.

Since hair is made up mostly of protein, minerals and amino acids it is easy to conclude that a balanced diet with these nutrients in significant quantities could stimulate new hair growth. Which may appear as rapid hair loss at first, in lieu of impending new hair growth.
You can trigger rapid hair growth by supplementing the right nutrients.
Herbalife Nutritional shake Mix provides the nutrients you need to grow hair in the form of soy protein with vitamins and minerals.
To answer your question are Herbalife and hair loss related? Yes in a way they are. Herbalife products do not directly cause hair loss. But because they contain the nutrients needed to grow hair you may experience abnormal hair loss at first.
Because cellular nutrition is the basis for good health even your hair discards the old and weak cells to make room for the rebuilding process.
Hope this helps
